The spaces
The Huerta de la Purísima has different spaces to celebrate up to two simultaneous celebrations.
SPACE Entrance Garden
This stately space, which gives heritage to the home before the renovation, consisted of planters that left the passage areas narrow. Maintaining the vegetation, they were made walkable with an apañata soil, compacted earth, which in addition to integrating well generates shaded spaces due to tall trees where you can be in contact with nature in a pleasant way.
SPACE "La Isla"
The pool, initially elevated, has been maintained this way, freeing up annex spaces on the ground floor so that it is Recor Rible throughout its perimeter. Relationships are generated between spaces giving the right privacy. The surface of the island itself was expanded to have a more comfortable solarium space and a stronger connection was generated through a stand with the basketball court.
We continue in the line of natural materials that integrate well with the existing house, such as Macael marble, which together with its square cut and luminosity generates a checkerboard of peace.
SPACE "Piscina"
The pool was initially built 1.4 meters above the ground but with little living space around it.
In the rehabilitation we have expanded that space, generating a large solarium connected to the main gardens by means of a stand that makes the relationship between these two spaces more friendly.
The pool becomes a free-standing element in the gardens that prioritizes the adjacent outdoor spaces, always serving as a reference.
SPACE Patio de los Naranjos
The preamble to the north face of the house is this magnificent patio with citrus trees, orange trees and a lemon tree.
What was once side B, where the stables, hutches, chicken coop and other rooms for the animals were, now reveals the arched structure that was underneath with a pleasant shaded patio.
The old Well and its direct connection to the pool make this intimate space one of the guests’ favorites.
The Rehabilitation of the property, carried out by LaHuerta arquitectura, maintains the essence of the greatness of its beginning without contemporary displays. No original elements have been replaced, all have been restored, from doors and windows to the original furniture.
